Meet the Doctors & Staff
Mark Vagnetti, DDS
Dr. Vagnetti is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Upon receiving the U.S Army Health Professions Scholarship, he entered military service as a general dentist. He graduated from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry 1-year program (AEGD-1) at Fort Benning, GA. Dr. Vagnetti went on to serve in a Field Dental Unit in Germany and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Upon returning from deployment, he was accepted into the U.S. Army Endodontic Residency Program in Fort Bragg, NC where he earned his Endodontic Certificate. He returned to Fort Benning to serve as the Endodontic Mentor for the AEGD-1 residents and the Chief of Endodontics. After five military moves and nine years of Army service, Dr. Vagnetti was ready to return to Virginia and be a part of the wonderful Charlottesville community.
Dr. Vagnetti, his wife Heather, and their children are excited to be back in Virginia. He enjoys spending time with his family. He is active playing soccer, supporting UVA athletics, and is trying to re-create German beer by homebrewing.
Lauren Wronsky, DDS
Dr. Wronsky is a graduate of Boston University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Master of Science (MS), and endodontic specialty certificate.
Dr. Wronsky is a native of Anne Arundel County, Maryland where she worked as an endodontic assistant before being accepted to dental school, during which time she solidified her passion for dentistry, specifically endodontics. Dr. Wronsky dedicated much of her free time during undergrad and dental school to serving the Boston and Baltimore City communities. She served for 3 years as a member of Peer Health Exchange teaching Boston City high schoolers comprehensive health education that otherwise would not have been taught due to budgeting constraints. Dr. Wronsky was one of nine recipients from the School of Dentistry of the University of Maryland, Baltimore Dean's Outstanding Community Service Award in 2015. She is excited to make the Charlottesville/Albemarle community her new home and serve those in need.
Dr. Wronsky is fluent in Spanish, enjoys traveling, loves to cook, and is reconnecting with her love for the outdoors by exploring the beautiful Shenandoah Valley area as often as she can. She shares a home with her husband, Eric, and their three pets: Wadsworth, Edeline, and Captain Quint.
Paula Gibson - Administrative and Clinical Dental Assistant
Paula has been practicing in the dental field for more than twenty-five years. She is always enthusiastic about working with dentists, patients, and teaching the basics of dental knowledge to help others improve their health. Her husband’s military career took them to many different places where she not only worked in military dental clinics, but also private practices nationwide. Most recently, the Army led Paula and her family to Fort Benning, Georgia where she worked exclusively in the Endodontic Department. She met Dr. Vagnetti after managing the Endo department for more than two years and worked by his side for over three years.
Paula is originally from North Carolina. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, cooking, and Georgia football.
Whitney Bradley - Clinical Dental Assistant
Whitney has been in dentistry since 2010. She is a certified dental assistant and has extensive experience in CBCT radiography. She has been working exclusively in endodontic specialty offices since the beginning of her dental career. Whitney is a Culpeper, VA native. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Victoria Moxham - Clinical Dental Assistant
Victoria has been in the dental field for over 10 years. She is trained in multiple facets of the dental office, and soon found her niche in insurance. She is dedicated to providing each patient with all the information necessary to make every visit with Piedmont Endodontics a pleasant experience. Originally from upstate New York, she has live in Virginia for 15 years. In her free time, Victoria loves travelling to hike mountains around North America, and she is an avid fan of supporting local music and breweries.
Angie Fabian - Clinical Dental Assistant
Angie has been in the dental field for more than 13 years. She is experienced in multiple dental specialties, working exclusively in the Endodontic Dept at Fort Benning, GA for 2 years. Angie is originally from Georgia. She enjoys spending time with her family exploring the Central Virginia area.
